Today I begin

Could my voice be heard through the grand cacaphony of life?
The smells and textures, sounds;
a car approaches quickly it’s been raining,
somehow the rain is pushed forward in sound w the car.
Strange. I was headed out to mow.
Late morning and the skies opened up w mirth
and sideways rain for about 20 minutes.
The sun is hovering just behind the rain clouds
settling down gently upon Florida mtn.
The air gets brighter as the sun wrestles w great clarity.
A gentle breeze, aa almost always up here at Gladwinds 3,
found at what I call the crossroads of Florida, Mass.
This small mtn town lacking a real store or stoplight,
nonetheless, has a crossroads at the downtown juncture,
and I live there, at those foretold of juncture ways.
Martins’ Station is born
